By a raisin for the raisins - An interesting blog for senior citizens

We the senior citizens are like raisins, not because there are wrinkles on both of our skin but because the changes in both of our lives are the same. When we were younger, we were like raw grapes- sour, because of our naughtiness yet an apple of everyone’s eyes. When we became grown-ups, we were like ripe , sweet grapes- quenching the thirst and fulfilling hunger of the family, at the same time nutritious for the health of our family. Now when we are senior citizens, the experiences and knowledge have converted us into raisins which means that now our value has increased from a fruit into dry fruit. So now we are the most valuable persons and not the useless and wastage in society, as some people think.

I know that every senior citizen's opinion is valuable because of maturity in our lives. When we were very busy and earning money, every one respected us and was interested in listening to our life-stories, but we had no time for it. Now when we are free but physically weak, no one has any interest, respect  for us.So this is the blog through which you can express yourself through your replies and share with us your experiences. Even though this blog is mainly for senior citizens, the young generation's opinions and experiences about senior citizens will also be appreciated. So every reader of this blog will be appreciated. In every weak there will be a new article. In this blog there will be no advices,no preaching, as we have already tolerated it in our entire life. Here in this blog, we shall think over all aspects of life. So let us enjoy this blog.

ON JANMASHTAMI

It is believed that God always behaves ideal. So almost our all myths when tell us about God’s incarnation as a human being, they draw His character as ideal in His childhood and in young age also. Only,God Krishna is shown as behaving according to the age like a human being. From His childhood and in His throughout whole life, there is a mischievousness, which is very much liked by all human beings. Perhaps so, everyone feels more attachment for Krishna. Because, even in old age also even an ideal and disciplined human being likes mischievousness, though he himself could never behave so. In childhood, Krishna played fully with his friends, even stole curd and butter from milkmaid's houses with friends. At the same time, being God, he killed many monsters also. In young age, He played “Rasleela”with the milkmaid's. When He helped Arjuna to marry with His sister Subhadra, very mischievously he deceived Balaram. It means God Krishna is the best combination of God and human be...

Colours of the days

Yesterday,I met our family friend -a retired person- and as formality, I asked him that how he was, he started to complain about his retired life. His main complaint was that for him now every day was similar to another,no change, no zest. Even on festival also except for some time, the remaining day was very dull for him. While speaking, he referred that after retirement, his all days are of grey colour, and yes, I also agreed with him on the point that days also have colours and various shades.                       Even though grammatically,a day is a concept and so it has no colour, no shape,no size. Again logically, day after day comes and it makes a week, month,a year and our life goes on. So a day doesn't differ from other days. Yet practically we have experience that if on a day, the climate is cloudy for the whole day, everyone feels dull, and as grey colour is symbol o...

Awful loneliness

- Few days ago, I saw a news on t.v.about Asha Sahani. She was living at Lokhandwala in Mumbai alone. Her son Rituraj  is working in America in IT field. It means economically it is very sound family. For one and half year, the son didn't contact her. After this one and half year, when he returned to his mother's home, he found his mother's skeleton, lying on bed in her bedroom. No one knows when she died. What a shocking news! Death in such loneliness! Very horrible! For so many days no one in this world noticed her death!                                                                             ...
