After my graduation, there was a gap of ten years in my education. During these ten years, I got married and I wanted to settle in my in-laws, moreover after my marriage, I had two issues. So, it was necessary for me, to give full time for my family. Yet, without any planning or not with any purpose, however,I started social work. In this new field, there was one ideal person--Dalal Madam. Infact, I entered in social work only because of this Dalal Madam. She always guided me and always helped me in my social work. We found a private primary school, as well as, we worked together in our Mahila-Mandal for many years. So, in my life, Dalal Madam became a Guru, guide as well as my close friend also.
After this gap of ten years, we, means I and my husband decided for my further education. I wanted to become a lawyer, my husband also liked it, he encouraged me,yet I had no confidence about my capacity. So I was hesitating and avoiding to take admission in law college. At that time also, the most senior advocate (80 years old),Ad.Waghulde, met me and asked about the reason for my hesitation. I frankly told the fear in my mind, I told him that I had confidence about achieving degree in law, but when I would stand in front of Hon’ble Court, instead of my client, I would tremble. But, only through the answer,Ad.Waghulde drived off my all fear. He answered,”are you the first person, who will tremble while standing in front of Hon'ble Court? Every advocate trembles on his first standing in front of the Hon’ble Court.Do you think that the expert advocates fall directly from heaven? They also might have trembled on their first hearing of the first case.” So,Ad.Waghulde became my teacher in my law education. When I was preparing for my first law-exam. I got his guidance. With knowledge of law, he was encouraging me also. But I was not so lucky, because, only for six months, I could get his guidance and then, he suffered from paralysis, and he left our town.
For remaining two law-exams,the Principal of law college,Ad. Mathurvaishya himself helped in my study. Whenever, there was any difficulty in understanding any topic of law, he explained it to me. When I started my career as a lawyer,I joined office of the most senior advocate,Ad. D.B. Kulkarni. He was not only my Guru, but guardian also. Because, in our court, for four years, I was the only one lady advocate. Though, every gent-advocate in our court, behaved very nice with me,yet in the beginning period of my practice, I myself needed moral support, and my senior advocate gave it fully to me.
So, the credit of my becoming an advocate, goes to all these teachers.
